Consumer Disputes

Complaints for defective goods and deficient services before the District, State and National Commissions.

Discuss a matter

The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 lets a consumer complain about a defect in goods or a deficiency in service to a three-tier system of Consumer Commissions: District (claims up to 50 lakh), State (up to 2 crore) and National (above 2 crore), with appeals up the chain.

The firm has acted in consumer matters against large food, restaurant, oil and gas and telecom brands, and defends businesses facing complaints. Consumer proceedings are meant to be quick and inexpensive, and the firm keeps them that way.

Insurance repudiation, builder delay, medical negligence and banking disputes are the matters we see most often.
